iBook - 70th birthday
Zu kompliziert um es überhaupt zu versuchen, schien für meinen Vater das Internet. Die Recherchen für seine Bücher fanden in der Unibibliothek statt. Trotz seiner geringen Begeisterung fürs web, schenkten wir ihm ein iBook zum 70. Geburtstag. Keyboard, Tastatur und i-Curve sollten ihm das Arbeiten erleichtern. Heute, drei Wochen später macht er alles mit dem iBook. Internetrecherchen, email, Texte. Und, ist begeistert vom web. Nur die "nett gemeinten Hilfmittel" hat er wieder abgebaut. Allein das iBook, das reicht.

70th birthday. Until then, he hardly had an idea what web means. Anyhow, we presented him a 14'' iBook. And he's absolutely happy. Make things easier, we gave him a keyboard, mouse and an i-curve in addition. But he prefers the "pure version" and works with it all day long.
