GRDDL: Transform Microformats to RDF
GRDDL steht für "Gleaning Resource Descriptions from Dialects of Language". Es schafft unter anderem
die Verbindung zwischen Mikroformaten und RDF. Neben den Mikroformatierungen muss im Xhtml-header lediglich noch ein Meta-Profil-Verweis und ein link-tag eingefügt werden (linkes Bild Zeilen 3,5), dann kann bspw. der Quelltext mit den Mikroformaten meines Kalendereintrages CeBIT 2007 hiermit in RDF (rechtes Bild) umgewandelt werden.
Wenn demnächst Suchmaschinen wie Swoogle zunächst noch Mikroformate in RDF umwandeln könnten, wäre das die Verbindung von Mikroformaten und RDF. Damit würden semantische Auszeichnungen beider Arten mit einer Suche gefunden werden können und untereinander maschinenlesbar sein.

GRDDL means "Gleaning Resource Descriptions from Dialects of Language". With GRDDL, microformat data can be viewed as Semantic Web data (RDF). On the left pic you see the source-code for a microformat hCalendar data. It is necessary to add two tags (profile and link, line 3,5) before. Than you can transform the source to RDF (left pic). If search engines as Swoogle , will be able to transform the source itself to RDF, it might be possible to find microformat data and RDF data within one Web Search.
